ERC conducted state dredge and fill and Federal CWA 404 permitting on a 115 acre mixed-use development site located in the SWAMP regulated region of Walton County, Florida.
ERC delineated the extent of the wetland habitats and threatened and endangered species, provided secondary and cumulative impact assessments, wetland functional assessments with UMAM and WRAP, demonstrated minimization and avoidance, and planned and implemented the mitigation.
The project resulted in 45 (+/-) acres of impact with on-site and off-site mitigation, which together with the Devil’s Swamp Mitigation Bank and NWFWMD preservation land, provides a continuous 30,000 (+/-) acre buffer to the Choctawhatchee River Basin.
We work with a variety of public and private sector clients on projects ranging in size from individual residential lots to over a million acres of privately owned land. Our team is uniquely qualified to provide restoration, permitting and ecological assessment services.
ERC obtains authorizations from local, state and federal wetland permits through the Environmental Resource Program (ERP), Wetland Resource Program (WRP) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).Section 404 of the Clean Water Act projects include roadway, bridge, residential, commercial and institutional developments. We are a women owned, dis-advantaged business enterprise (DBE) minority business enterprise (MBE).
